Music you don't have to be drunk to dance to! A raw acoustic sound comin' down from the cold waters of Penobscot Bay. This Trio formed in the Summer of 2004 has been whipping up quite a storm in the island communities of Midcoast Maine, and are just now bringing there suitcase of sounds to a wider audience. Pinata, captures well the versitility and diversity of the toughcat sound. The album was recorded and mixed by the toughcats live with a few over dubs to attempt to capture a live toughcat show, and was all done in the local community center late at night in the middle of a cold January. The mastering work was done by Kramer of second-shimmy http://www.kramershimmy.com. The toughcats compliment their music with original video, performance, and homemade lighting.
